Nocturnazine #14 reviews Tales from the Funeral Home

Nocturnazine promotes darkwave, goth, industrial, and adjacent genres in music, fashion, poetry, film, beverage, art, and photography. Recently they suffered upon Tales from the Funeral Home and had this to say.

“The Wedding Funeral are beautifully difficult to compare to anyone else, and that originality is exactly what makes this album so intriguing. At times I catch an acoustic Peter Murphy vibe, but the female vocals and odd instrumentation lead this thing somewhere much stranger and far more haunting. Upon my first listen I immediately thought these are exactly the gothic noir-folk jams required for any of your late night cornfield campfires. There is something lurking deliciously beneath these songs, making this an excellent soundtrack for spooky season, preferably with a little fog, a dying fire, and absolutely no idea what might be watching from beyond the corn.”
